Recover cloud snapshot

Unisphere uses PowerMax Cloud Mobility functionality to enable you to move snapshots off the storage system and on to the cloud.

This procedure explains how to create a new local storage group from a cloud snapshot:

Steps

  1. Select a storage system.
  2. Select Storage > Storage Groups.
    The Storage Groups list view is displayed.
  3. Select a storage group.
  4. To view the storage group details, click .
  5. In the storage group details view, click the number of Cloud Snapshots.
  6. Select the cloud snapshot that you want to recover.
  7. Click Recover.
    The Recover Cloud Snapshot dialog box is displayed.
  8. Type a Storage Group Name, which is the name of the new local storage group that is created from the cloud snapshot.
  9. Select an SRP.
  10. Select a Service Level.
  11. Click Apply.
